I'm not trying to take that away from you. If any of you recently started playing this for anime, or have been playing a long time for anime, then more power to you. I'm just looking for some reasons, as to why this decision was made to no-longer allow optional participation in this type of content that many players did not begin playing the game for. So, I'm not trying to bash anime, or be bashed about it. Everyone has the right to be interested, or not interested in anything they choose. I'm not here to explain my personality, non-interests, play defense to pro-anime psychological probing, or anything like that. This in turn also awards several non-deletable ship flags in port.įirst off, this isn't a hate thread. The new collection for Azur Lane was also started automatically, and I'm getting parts of it without participating, and without having "collecting" enabled.
The combat mission just popped up, and playing in general puts progress towards this mission which awards a flag (cannot be removed). So, why now is an Azur Lane combat mission, and an Azur Lane collection is being forced on players all of a sudden? We were not given an option to not participate, and it's nothing that can be hidden. We have an option in-game to turn all that stuff off, along with space / halloween and other themes if desired. When a player does not want to participate in Anime, we are usually given the option to NOT click "participate" in the news announcement.
